We have our own car park at the back of our venue that is, unfortunately, very small. We also ask that you do not park on the double yellow lines on Sun Street as you WILL get a ticket.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT ROUTES
The Civic Arts Centre & Theatre is situated on Union Road, which provides easy access to local bus routes. The services that stop next to/opposite the theatre are; 6, 6A, 7, 7A & 1. For more information on these services, please
We are also extremely close to Church and Oswaldtwistle Train Station, which has connections to and from Blackpool South and Colne. Nearby larger stations include Accrington, Blackburn and Preston.
While not technically public transport, taxis are another option for local access. Taxi firms nearby include Max Cabs, Hyndburn Cars, Betty's Private Hire, Adam's Private Hire, Town Gate Cars.
ACCESSIBILITY
We strive to make the Civic Arts Centre and Theatre as accessible as we possibly can, and both the Arts Centre and the Theatre are wheelchair accessible. If you are attending events and need wheelchair access please talk to us in advance.
All floors in the Theatre have lift access, and there is flat access to the arts centre, and we have 2 disabled toilets - one in the Arts Centre, one in the Theatre.
Our events also have designated wheelchair spaces, but these do need to be booked in advance as they are limited.
We also have one Blue Badge parking space located in the car park at the rear of the building.
We are currently working towards having signed performances, and also SEN and Autism friendly theatre shows to include everyone in our theatre experiences

BOOKING INFORMATION
Tickets for events at the Civic Arts Centre and Theatre can usually be booked one of three ways:
ONLINE:
Links to tickets are next to every event listed on the website, but for a comprehensive list of all our events visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/civicartscentre
Please note that when booking online a booking fee applies of £0.45 + 6% per ticket
OVER THE PHONE:
You can also book tickets to our events over the phone - 0333 6663366. A booking fee will also be applied to these transactions.
BOX OFFICE:
You can call into the Civic Arts Centre and Theatre any time during our opening hours to enquire about events and also book tickets with us. Please note that paying with cash is the only way to avoid the Ticketsource booking fee, we do not accept cheques at the box office.
RESERVATION POLICY:
We do not allow reservations on shows unless you are booking for a large group, school or organisation. In these instances we will reserve seats and send out an invoice which is payable before tickets are released.
BUYING TICKETS ON THE DOOR:
We would never recommend buying tickets on the door. Advance booking secures your seat and means you don't have to wait upon arrival; it also helps us to plan sufficient staffing levels. If you must book tickets on the door, please call us prior to arrival to check there are tickets still available.
CONCESSIONS:
Ticket prices are dictated to us by the company producing the show and we are often not able to offer discounts unless it is agreed in advance with the company. Where a concession price is available, this applies to children under 16 and over 60's, unless otherwise stated. For in house shows (produced and performed by the Civic), we can offer group discounts. Please contact us for more information.
REFUND POLICY:
All tickets purchased are non-refundable. If you wish to protect your purchase, TicketSource offers booking protection that can be purchased along with your tickets. This secures against injury/illness, travel and other disruptions. (All claims are submitted to the protections providers and not the Civic Arts Centre).
CARERS POLICY
On some shows we are able to offer a 50% discount for seats when a carer is attending. These must be requested as discounts are not automatically applied.
COVID REFUNDS
We are able to offer refunds if you are unable to attend due to COVID. However, we must be notified of this BEFORE the event in question. We will not refund if you attempt to claim after the event.
