Our Venue - Your Event

The Civic Arts Centre & Theatre is available to hire and has many spaces available, from a small meeting room for 20 people, to our 470-seat auditorium, to suit all your requirements.

Available Spaces

​

We have two small meeting rooms, suitable for meetings, classes and small workshops for up to 15 people.

​

The Main Studio - A flexible and intimate studio theatre, suitable for large meetings, workshops, parties, events and performances for up to 100 people. A bar is available in this space.

​

The Auditorium - A 450-seat theatre for large events such as presentation evenings, dance shows and other performances.  Seating can be adapted slightly.  Features a large bar area and the bar open and staffed is always included in your hire.

Costs

​

We have a flexible approach to hire costs and will always try to work with your budget, especially for charities and local organisations.  For a quote, please get in touch with our Events Team who will be happy to help.

Additional Extras & Support

​

Box Office Service - We are able to offer a comprehensive Box Office service, meaning your customers can purchase tickets at our box office, over the phone or online.  Tickets can be allocated to seating plans or general admission.  One less thing for you to worry about.

​

Event Staff - We have a bank of Event Staff who are competent in delivering customer service at our venue.  They can work on your box office, front of house, or many other ad-hoc roles you might need.

​

Events Management Support - We have a team of staff who are experienced in Events Management.  If you're not sure on how to organise your event and make it happen, speak to our team who can provide you with extra support.
